He directed all concerned officers to maintain strict and continuous monitoring of upper reaches, low-lying areas and other vulnerable locations to facilitate timely relief and rescue operations in the event of any adverse weather situation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Deputy Commissioner instructed that the District Control Room shall remain operational round the clock, with similar control rooms functioning effectively at the Sub-Divisional level. He emphasized regular assessment of the situation and seamless coordination among all departments.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Deputy Commissioner directed for that advance precautionary measures, including the relocation of families residing in highly vulnerable locations, particularly along the river belts of Doodganga, Shaliganga and Nallah Sukhnag, wherever necessary to safeguard lives and property.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He directed the immediate mobilisation and readiness of Police, SDRF, Civil Defence, I&amp;FC, R&amp;B, KPDCL, Jal Shakti teams, besides keeping men and machinery in complete readiness across the district.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The DC also instructed concerned departments to ensure the availability and operational readiness of dewatering pumps in flood-prone and low-lying areas to respond promptly in case of waterlogging caused by heavy rainfall. He further directed that temporary shelter facilities, along with essential arrangements, be kept ready for the safe and comfortable accommodation of any affected families.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The DC emphasized that all departments must ensure the prompt restoration of roads and other essential public services in the aftermath of any weather-related disruption.
