Hasnain Masoodi has asked the legislator to appear before it tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>On September 8, 2025, Mehraj Malik was detained under the Public Safety Act (PSA). Shortly after his detention, the Assembly Secretariat released a bulletin informing MLAs about Malik\u2019s detention.<\/p>\n<p>Parra, however, accused the Assembly Secretariat of endorsing Malik\u2019s detention. \u201cShameful surrender. Assembly Secretariat endorsing PSA against an elected MLA is a direct assault on democracy. J&amp;K CM @OmarAbdullah must act, don\u2019t allow the institution of MLA, the last agency of the people, to be silenced.
