{"id":27450,"date":"2026-08-08T01:11:37","date_gmt":"2026-08-08T01:11:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/?p=27450"},"modified":"2026-08-08T01:11:37","modified_gmt":"2026-08-08T01:11:37","slug":"cm-omar-inaugurates-upgraded-road-high-street-in-jammu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/index.php\/2026\/08\/08\/cm-omar-inaugurates-upgraded-road-high-street-in-jammu\/","title":{"rendered":"CM Omar inaugurates upgraded Road\u2013High Street in Jammu"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Jammu, Aug 07:<\/strong> Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday inaugurated the upgraded Residency Road\u2013High Street in Jammu, a landmark urban infrastructure project executed by Jammu Smart City Limited (JSCL) under the Smart City Mission at a cost of Rs 9.18 crore.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The project has transformed nearly 1.2 kilometres of the Residency Road\u2013High Street corridor, covering the stretches from Raghunathji Mandir to CM House, Vivekanand Chowk to Raghunath Mandir Chowk, and Vir Marg Chowk to Vivekanand Chowk.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As part of the upgradation, an underground communication corridor has been constructed and communication cables have been shifted underground to streamline utility infrastructure and enhance the area\u2019s visual appeal.
