{"id":27656,"date":"2026-08-11T01:43:28","date_gmt":"2026-08-11T01:43:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/?p=27656"},"modified":"2026-08-11T01:43:28","modified_gmt":"2026-08-11T01:43:28","slug":"attend-national-level-events-div-com-extends-open-invitation-to-all","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/index.php\/2026\/08\/11\/attend-national-level-events-div-com-extends-open-invitation-to-all\/","title":{"rendered":"Attend national level events: Div Com extends open invitation to all\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Preparations underway for I Day celebrations at Bakshi Stadium<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>LG, CM likely to participate in \u2018Har Ghar Tiranga\u2019 rally tomorrow<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Srinagar, Aug 10: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Anshul Garg on Monday invited people, particularly children and youth, to participate in Independence Day celebrations and other national-level events in large numbers.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to reporters at SKICC, Div Com Garg, as per the news agency\u2014Kashmir News Observer (KNO), said preparations for the UT-level August 15 function at Bakshi Stadium Srinagar are underway. \u201cLike every year, the UT-level August 15 event is being organised in Srinagar at Bakshi Stadium. Various arrangements are underway, including parade contingents, the cultural programme for the day and illumination of buildings in the tricolour theme,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He said preparatory meetings, including with security agencies, have already been held and security arrangements are also being put in place. \u201cRehearsals involving our children and contingents of the forces are also taking place at Bakshi Stadium,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The Divisional Commissioner appealed to people to participate in the August 15 programme, especially urging children and youth to attend in large numbers.<\/p>\n<p>He said a \u2018Har Ghar Tiranga\u2019 event will also be held on August 12, in which Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah are expected to participate.<\/p>\n<p>He said the colourful tricolour-themed rally would begin at 7 am from SKICC and proceed towards the Botanical Garden. \u201cThe Divisional Administration, in collaboration with the Department of Culture, is making necessary arrangements for the rally,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll people, especially youth, are invited to attend the national-level events and participate in large numbers,\u201d Garg said.
