{"id":27701,"date":"2026-08-11T18:38:58","date_gmt":"2026-08-11T18:38:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/?p=27701"},"modified":"2026-08-11T18:38:58","modified_gmt":"2026-08-11T18:38:58","slug":"census-2027-2-day-training-programme-for-charge-officers-for-snow-bound-areas-commences-in-baramulla","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/index.php\/2026\/08\/11\/census-2027-2-day-training-programme-for-charge-officers-for-snow-bound-areas-commences-in-baramulla\/","title":{"rendered":"Census 2027 : 2-day training programme for charge officers for Snow-Bound areas commences in Baramulla"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">BARAMULLA, AUGUST 11: A two-day training programme for Charge Officers deputed for conducting the Census 2027 exercise in snow-bound areas of Baramulla district commenced on Tuesday at the Main Meeting Hall of the DC Office Complex, Baramulla.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The training programme, as per an official statement, was chaired by Chief Planning Officer (CPO) Baramulla, Nisar Ahmed, and was attended by SDM Uri, Price Kumar, Nodal Officers for Census in Baramulla, charge officers and other concerned officers and officials associated with the census exercise.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The training has been organised with the objective of ensuring comprehensive preparedness among the field functionaries for the smooth and effective conduct of census operations in snow-bound areas, where challenging terrain, harsh weather conditions and limited accessibility can pose operational difficulties.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the programme, the participants were provided detailed orientation regarding the various stages of the census exercise, their roles and responsibilities, field-level planning, coordination mechanisms, documentation, reporting procedures and other important aspects to ensure accurate and timely completion of the assigned tasks.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was informed during the meeting that self-enumeration through the official Census portal will commence from August 17 and continue till August 31, 2026, providing citizens an opportunity to furnish their household-related information through the designated online platform. This will be followed by door-to-door physical enumeration from September 1 to September 30, 2026 in all identified snow-bound areas of the district.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Charge Officers were apprised of the importance of effectively facilitating both phases of the exercise and ensuring that the benefits of self-enumeration are communicated widely among the eligible population.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the meeting, the CPO directed the Charge Officers to undertake detailed assessment of their respective areas and identify difficult, remote and vulnerable locations well in advance so that appropriate logistical and manpower arrangements can be put in place.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The CPO stressed that no household or individual should be left out of the enumeration process, and directed the officers to ensure 100 percent coverage within their respective jurisdictions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BARAMULLA, AUGUST 11: A two-day training programme for Charge Officers deputed for conducting the Census 2027 exercise in snow-bound areas of Baramulla district commenced on Tuesday at the Main Meeting Hall of the DC Office Complex, Baramulla.
