{"id":28501,"date":"2026-08-21T01:21:23","date_gmt":"2026-08-21T01:21:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/?p=28501"},"modified":"2026-08-21T01:21:23","modified_gmt":"2026-08-21T01:21:23","slug":"dgp-prabhat-directs-hassle-free-kounsarnag-yatra","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/index.php\/2026\/08\/21\/dgp-prabhat-directs-hassle-free-kounsarnag-yatra\/","title":{"rendered":"DGP Prabhat directs hassle-free Kounsarnag Yatra"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Srinagar, Aug 20:<\/strong>\u00a0Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Prabhat on Thursday asked the officers to ensure that upcoming Kounsarnag Yatra in South Kashmir passes off smoothly.<\/p>\n<p>While chairing a security review meeting at Police Control Room Kashmir to review the security arrangements for the annual Kounsarnag Yatra, DGP Prabhat directed the officers to maintain a high level of preparedness, strengthen security arrangements along the Yatra routes, and ensure close coordination and seamless communication among all stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>He reviewed various security-related aspects and stressed the need for enhanced coordination among all concerned agencies to ensure comprehensive security and effective management of the pilgrimage.<\/p>\n<p>The DGP said, \u201cSafety and security of pilgrims remains a top priority. All necessary security measures need to be put in place for the peaceful and smooth conduct of the Kounsarnag Yatra.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The meeting was attended by Special DG Coordination J&amp;K S.J.M Gillani, IGsP of (Kashmir Zone, Jammu Zone), range DIsG of SKR &amp; UR, SSP Kulgam, SSP Reasi, SSP PCR Kashmir, CO 33RR, CO 58RR, CDR 14 Sector RR and other senior officers.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting focused on reviewing the existing security arrangements and strengthening the security framework in view of the upcoming Kounsarnag Yatra.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting concluded with directions to all concerned officers to ensure meticulous planning, close coordination, and effective implementation of the security arrangements<strong>\u2014(KNO)<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Srinagar, Aug 20:\u00a0Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Prabhat on Thursday asked the officers to ensure that upcoming Kounsarnag Yatra in South Kashmir passes off smoothly.
