The security agencies must investigate the source of the threat and the data leak with urgency and hold those responsible accountable. The political leadership must speak with one voice on this issue. The right to work with dignity and without fear is not a privilege; it is a fundamental right. Any attempt to deny that right must be met with the full force of the law. The government must also work to restore the confidence of the affected employees, assuring them that their safety is a top priority. Those who threaten innocent citizens will not succeed. The administration must act swiftly, decisively, and with the seriousness that this situation demands.
