{"id":29200,"date":"2026-08-29T01:13:20","date_gmt":"2026-08-29T01:13:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/?p=29200"},"modified":"2026-08-29T01:13:20","modified_gmt":"2026-08-29T01:13:20","slug":"14-jkas-officers-inducted-in-indian-administrative-service","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/index.php\/2026\/08\/29\/14-jkas-officers-inducted-in-indian-administrative-service\/","title":{"rendered":"14 JKAS officers inducted in Indian Administrative Service"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Munir-ul-Islam, Shabnam Kamili, Rajinder Singh Tara, Tariq Ganai, Smitha Sethi in list<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Srinagar, Aug 28: As many as 14 officers from Jammu &amp; Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) have been inducted in the prestigious Indian Administrative Service (IAS).<\/p>\n<p>According to the news agency\u2014Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the Department of Personnel &amp; Trainings on Friday notified the list of officers of Jammu &amp; Kashmir inducted into the AGMUT cadre of IAS under promotion quota.<\/p>\n<p>As per the notification, the President has approved the select list of 2019 and 2020.<\/p>\n<p>The 10 officers finding place in 2019 select list include Babila Rakwal (Commissioner Secretary, Science &amp; Technology Department), Shabnam Shah Kamili (Commissioner Secretary, ARI&amp; Trainings Department), Rachna Sharma (Secretary in Department, Rural Development &amp; Panchayati Raj), Leena Padha (Mission Director, Skill Development Mision), Rajinder Singh Tara (Secretary in the Department, Forest, Environment &amp; Ecology), Tariq Hussain Ganai (Managing Director, J&amp;K Medical Supplies Corporation), Munir-ul-Islam (Secretary in the Department, Information Department), Sajad Hussain Ganai (Mission Director, ICDS), Anoo Malhotra (Director General, Rural Sanitation), and Nitu Gupta (Secretary in the Department, Agriculture Production Department).<\/p>\n<p>According to the notification, four officers have been inducted against vacancies of 2020.<\/p>\n<p>The officers include Prediman Krishan Bhat (Commissioner State Taxes), Bhawani Rakwal (Project Director, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan), Smitha Sethi (Managing Director, J&amp;K Housing Board) and Anuradha Gupta (DG, Youth Services &amp; Sports).
