\u200e\u200eDuring the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner took a detailed assessment of the progress achieved by the concerned departments and reviewed the status of field-level data collection and other related activities.<\/p>\n
\u200e\u200eThe Digital Crop Survey (DCS), as per an official statement, is an initiative of the Government of India under the AgriStack framework, aimed at creating a verified and reliable digital database\u00a0of farm plots, crops sown and farmer-related information. The initiative seeks to facilitate better agricultural planning, improve delivery of farmer-centric services and ensure effective implementation of various government schemes.<\/p>\n
\u200e\u200eThe DC stressed upon\u00a0the concerned officers to ensure accurate, comprehensive and timely collection and updation of data. He directed them to closely monitor the field-level progress, identify and address bottlenecks promptly and ensure achievement of the assigned targets within the stipulated timelines.<\/p>\n
\u200e\u200eHe further emphasised the need for close coordination among all stakeholders to ensure smooth and effective implementation of the Digital Crop Survey across the district.<\/p>\n
