{"id":29867,"date":"2026-09-09T01:10:02","date_gmt":"2026-09-09T01:10:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/?p=29867"},"modified":"2026-09-09T01:10:02","modified_gmt":"2026-09-09T01:10:02","slug":"govt-revokes-posting-of-jkas-officer-in-assembly-secretariat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/index.php\/2026\/09\/09\/govt-revokes-posting-of-jkas-officer-in-assembly-secretariat\/","title":{"rendered":"Govt revokes posting of JKAS officer in Assembly secretariat"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Srinagar, Sept 08:\u00a0<\/strong>The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Tuesday cancelled its order posting a Jammu &amp; Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) officer in the Assembly Secretariat.<\/p>\n<p>In a fresh directive, the General Administration Department (GAD) revoked Government Order No. 1415\u2011JK(GAD) of 2026 dated August 19, which had transferred and posted Bilal Ahmad Mir, JKAS, Sub\u2011Registrar Khansahib\/Budgam, as Deputy Secretary in the J&amp;K Legislative Assembly. \u201cIt is hereby ordered that Government Order No. 1415\u2011JK(GAD) of 2026 dated 19.08.2026 shall be deemed to have been cancelled ab initio,\u201d reads the order.<\/p>\n<p>The same directive further stated that Jahangir Ahmed, JKAS, Sub\u2011Divisional Magistrate Khansahib, shall hold the charge of Sub\u2011Registrar Khansahib and Sub\u2011Registrar Budgam, in addition to his own duties, until further orders.<\/p>\n<p>The posting of Bilal evoked widespread protests from the Assembly staff and legislators, prompting the Assembly Secretariat to formally write to the GAD seeking withdrawal of the order<strong>\u2014(KNO)<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Srinagar, Sept 08:\u00a0The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Tuesday cancelled its order posting a Jammu &amp; Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) officer in the Assembly Secretariat.
