{"id":29990,"date":"2026-09-09T20:35:36","date_gmt":"2026-09-09T20:35:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/?p=29990"},"modified":"2026-09-09T20:35:36","modified_gmt":"2026-09-09T20:35:36","slug":"students-from-colleges-ku-join-festival-screenings-masterclasses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/index.php\/2026\/09\/09\/students-from-colleges-ku-join-festival-screenings-masterclasses\/","title":{"rendered":"Students from colleges, KU join festival screenings, masterclasses"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Cultural progs by DIPR, JKAACL add vibrancy to festival<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Srinagar, Sept 09: Cinema, culture and youth participation came together on the third day of the ongoing International Film Festival of Jammu &amp; Kashmir (IFFJ&amp;K), with students from colleges and the University of Kashmir joining festival screenings and programmes in Srinagar.<\/p>\n<p>Students attended screenings, masterclasses and interactive sessions with filmmakers and cinema professionals, adding a youthful energy to the festival and offering them an opportunity to engage with different aspects of filmmaking and the creative process.<\/p>\n<p>According to the news agency\u2014Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the festival\u2019s cinematic experience was complemented by a series of cultural programmes organised by the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) in collaboration with the Jammu &amp; Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL).<\/p>\n<p>Local artists also participated in performances held at prominent venues including the Jhelum Riverfront at Rajbagh, Old Zero Bridge, Sher-i-Kashmir Park, Nishat Garden and SKICC.<\/p>\n<p>The programmes feature traditional music, folk performances and other artistic expressions, giving festival delegates, visiting filmmakers, students and local audiences a glimpse into Jammu &amp; Kashmir\u2019s rich cultural traditions.<\/p>\n<p>Notably, the IFFJ&amp;K will conclude on September 10, with cultural programmes scheduled at designated venues from 5 pm to 7 pm.
