{"id":30318,"date":"2026-09-14T19:58:33","date_gmt":"2026-09-14T19:58:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/?p=30318"},"modified":"2026-09-14T19:58:33","modified_gmt":"2026-09-14T19:58:33","slug":"two-killed-7-injured-as-matador-overturns-near-reasi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/index.php\/2026\/09\/14\/two-killed-7-injured-as-matador-overturns-near-reasi\/","title":{"rendered":"Two killed, 7 injured as matador overturns near Reasi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>LG, CM condole loss of lives<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Reasi, Sep 14: Two people were killed and seven others injured after a passenger matador overturned near the Bakkal Tunnel area of Reasi district on Monday, officials said.<\/p>\n<p>An official told the news agency\u2014Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the matador, bearing registration number JK14B-2973, was travelling from Bakkal towards Reasi when it overturned on the road near the tunnel.<\/p>\n<p>He said two persons died in the accident, while seven others sustained injuries and their identities are being ascertained. \u201cPolice and rescue teams have reached the spot and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment,\u201d the official said.<\/p>\n<p>Police have initiated necessary proceedings.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah have expressed grief and extended his condolences to the bereaved families.<\/p>\n<p>In a condolence message, the LG said, \u201cDeeply pained to learn about the loss of precious lives in a tragic road accident in Reasi. My deepest condolences to the bereaved families.
