{"id":30837,"date":"2026-09-19T18:48:26","date_gmt":"2026-09-19T18:48:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/?p=30837"},"modified":"2026-09-19T18:48:26","modified_gmt":"2026-09-19T18:48:26","slug":"traffic-cop-dies-after-hit-by-truck","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/index.php\/2026\/09\/19\/traffic-cop-dies-after-hit-by-truck\/","title":{"rendered":"Traffic cop dies after hit by truck"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Qazigund, Sep 19: A Traffic Police Head Constable was killed after being hit by a truck in Qazigund area of Kulgam district on Saturday morning, officials said.<\/p>\n<p>An official told the news agency\u2014Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the traffic police officer was struck by a truck bearing registration number JK03Q-9011 near Shampora Bridge in Qazigund here in the morning.<\/p>\n<p>He said the speeding truck lost control and left the officer seriously injured, who later died on the spot.<\/p>\n<p>The traffic officer was later identified as Mushtaq Ahmad, son of Abdul Sabir Bhat, a resident of Kulpora.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the incident and further details are awaited.
