ANANTNAG, SEPTEMBER 26: Emphasising the vital importance of accurate, inclusive and technology-driven census data in strengthening governance, public policy and sustainable development, the Principal Census Officer, Anantnag, in collaboration with the Chief Education Office, Anantnag, organised a Quiz Competition-cum-Seminar on \u201cCensus 2027 in Digital Mode and the Role of Census Data in Nation Building and Policy Frameworks\u201d at Government Model Higher Secondary School (GMHSS), Ranibagh, Anantnag Saturday.<\/p>\n
The programme brought together enthusiastic student participants from various educational institutions, providing them with a meaningful platform to enhance their understanding of Census 2027, its digital transformation and the crucial role of reliable census data in evidence-based planning, governance, resource allocation and policy formulation.<\/p>\n
The occasion was graced by\u00a0 Additional Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag, Vikas Ahlawat, as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering, he highlighted the significance of census data in understanding demographic patterns, identifying developmental priorities and strengthening the effective delivery of public services.<\/p>\n

District Education Planning Officer, Anantnag, Assadullah Mir, graced the occasion as the Nodal Officer and Guest of Honour.
