{"id":32100,"date":"2026-10-08T01:59:52","date_gmt":"2026-10-08T01:59:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/?p=32100"},"modified":"2026-10-08T01:59:52","modified_gmt":"2026-10-08T01:59:52","slug":"ak-47-grenades-rounds-recovered-from-hideout","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/index.php\/2026\/10\/08\/ak-47-grenades-rounds-recovered-from-hideout\/","title":{"rendered":"AK-47, grenades, rounds recovered from hideout"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kupwara, Oct 07: Security forces on Wednesday recovered a cache of arms and ammunition from an old hideout in the Nagda Nar forest area of Handwara in north Kashmir\u2019s Kupwara district, officials said.<\/p>\n<p>A top officer told the news agency\u2014Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that, based on specific information, a joint team of Handwara Police, Rashtriya Rifles and CRPF conducted a search operation in the forest area.<\/p>\n<p>He said that during the search, the joint team detected and destroyed an old hideout and recovered one AK-47 rifle, three grenades, 857 AK rounds, 192 PIKA rounds, eight AK magazines, one silencer and 83 pistol rounds, besides other incriminating material.<\/p>\n<p>The official said that in this regard, FIR No. 232 under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigation initiated.
