UDHAMPUR, OCTOBER 16: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Ananth Dwivedi, Friday chaired a meeting with officers of the Health Department to assess the progress of the TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan and review the measures being undertaken to achieve a TB-free Udhampur.<\/p>\n
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Prem Singh and other concerned officers.<\/p>\n
At the outset, District Tuberculosis Officer Dr. Anil Saloch gave a detailed presentation on the district\u2019s performance under the campaign, highlighting the status of tuberculosis detection, screening coverage, treatment outcomes.<\/p>\n
While reviewing block-wise progress, the DC, as per an official statement, assessed the status of TB testing, screening and treatment success rates. He directed the DTO and the concerned BMOs to intensify screening activities, strengthen follow-up mechanisms, mobilize field teams effectively and ensure the achievement of assigned targets within the stipulated timelines.<\/p>\n
The DC further instructed the Health Department to expand TB testing, strengthen diagnostic facilities and ensure the early identification of suspected cases, followed by timely diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
