{"id":33288,"date":"2026-10-24T20:38:59","date_gmt":"2026-10-24T20:38:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/?p=33288"},"modified":"2026-10-24T20:38:59","modified_gmt":"2026-10-24T20:38:59","slug":"police-bust-clandestine-separatist-module-4-women-among-6-held","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/index.php\/2026\/10\/24\/police-bust-clandestine-separatist-module-4-women-among-6-held\/","title":{"rendered":"Police bust clandestine separatist module, 4 women among 6 held"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>\u2018Investigations reveal Pak-based funding, use of females for anti-national agenda\u2019 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Srinagar, Oct 24: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday said that it arrested six people, including four women, for their alleged involvement in a clandestine module linked to the banned organisation Ittihad-ul-Muslimeen in North Kashmir&#8217;s Bandipora district<\/p>\n<p>In a statement issued to the news agency\u2014Kashmir News Observer (KNO), a police spokesman said that the investigations revealed suspected links of the accused with a Pakistan-based handler, prison-based coordination, covert meetings and alleged financial transactions to propagate separatist ideology and anti-national agenda.<\/p>\n<p>A case has been registered under Sections 10 and 13 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) at Bandipora police station under FIR No. 168\/2026, he said.<\/p>\n<p>The arrested persons have been identified as Mubeena Banoo of Dachigam in Bandipora; Waheed Ahmad Bhat, of Handwara in Kupwara district; Kushboo Jan, Mehak Jan and Aliya Jan, all residents of Check Panzigam in Bandipora; and Irfan Ahmed Reshi alias Rayees, of Ananwan in Handwara, the spokesman said.<\/p>\n<p>The alleged network was operating under the directions of a Pakistan-based handler and involved prison-based contacts and meetings aimed at propagating separatist ideology, he said, adding that further investigations are underway.
