{"id":4102,"date":"2025-11-17T16:54:39","date_gmt":"2025-11-17T16:54:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/?p=4102"},"modified":"2025-11-17T16:54:39","modified_gmt":"2025-11-17T16:54:39","slug":"student-start-up-from-skuast-k-secures-rs-5-lakh-icar-grant","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/index.php\/2025\/11\/17\/student-start-up-from-skuast-k-secures-rs-5-lakh-icar-grant\/","title":{"rendered":"Student Start-up from SKUAST-K secures Rs 5 Lakh ICAR grant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER 17:\u00a0<\/strong>A student\u2011led start\u2011up \u201cM\/s FaimFarms P Ltd\u201d mentored under the SKUAST\u2011K Innovation, Incubation &amp; Entrepreneurship (SKIIE) Centre Shalimar Srinagar has been awarded a Rs 5 lakh grant\u2011in\u2011aid by ICAR\u2011Pusa, New Delhi, in recognition of its promising and disruptive innovation in the Agriculture sector.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The grant, sanctioned under ICAR\u2019s support for youth\u2011led agricultural innovations, will be used to advance the start\u2011up\u2019s ongoing work on a Ready to Eat\/Serve centric innovation developed at SKUAST\u2011K Innovation Centre in support with Division of Food Sciences &amp; Technology.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0The Funding will support prototype refinement, field validation, and early\u2011stage commercialization activities, enabling the team to translate research into practice and benefit farmers and other stakeholders in the region.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vice Chancellor SKUAST K,\u00a0 Prof Nazir A Ganai Congratulated the Young Student led Startup Founders of M\/s FaimFarms P Ltd setting their goals and achieving the feat and for taking the mission and vision of SKUAST K forward.
