{"id":4174,"date":"2025-11-17T18:54:42","date_gmt":"2025-11-17T18:54:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/?p=4174"},"modified":"2025-11-17T18:57:52","modified_gmt":"2025-11-17T18:57:52","slug":"red-fort-blast-aftermath-security-forces-increase-vigil-around-railway-stations-markets-highways","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/index.php\/2025\/11\/17\/red-fort-blast-aftermath-security-forces-increase-vigil-around-railway-stations-markets-highways\/","title":{"rendered":"=== Red Fort Blast Aftermath ===  Security forces increase vigil around railway stations, markets, highways"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Conduct frisking, vehicle checking, CASOs to ensure public safety <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Jammu, Srinagar Nov 17: Following the November 10, Red Fort blast in New Delhi, that left more than 10 persons dead, security forces in Jammu and Kashmir regions have increased the vigil by launching extensive search and combing operations to ensure public safety.<\/p>\n<p>An official told news agency\u2014Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that security forces are on high alert. \u201cFrisking has been intensified in markets, railway stations, and other public places, and CASOs are being launched to ensure public safety,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>The official described the ongoing operation as the \u201clargest-ever non-kinetic crackdown.\u201d \u201cHundreds of additional personnel from multiple security wings have been deployed at Jammu Railway Station to ensure that no untoward incident takes place,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>A witness told KNO that all travellers at the Jammu Railway Station are being subjected to thorough checks before entering the premises. \u201cSecurity teams equipped with advanced scanning devices and supported by canine units are frisking passengers, inspecting luggage, and verifying identities in real time,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, officials said that security forces in other parts of the Jammu region, including border areas, are on high alert and searches are being conducted along key highways and roads.<\/p>\n<p>From Kathua to the Jammu region, the officials said police alertness remains intact, with vehicle checks in both directions and the frisking of civilian vehicles as part of the larger security operations.<\/p>\n<p>In the Kashmir region, officials said security personnel are conducting vehicle checks, carrying out frisking, and launching CASOs at multiple locations amid the heightened alert.<\/p>\n<p>From North to South Kashmir, officials said, Police and the CRPF personnel are thoroughly checking vehicles and verifying registration documents.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Army and BSF remain on alert along the International Border and the Line of Control across both regions, maintaining high vigil to prevent any threat,\u201d the officials added.
