{"id":4293,"date":"2025-11-18T19:31:11","date_gmt":"2025-11-18T19:31:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/?p=4293"},"modified":"2025-11-18T19:31:11","modified_gmt":"2025-11-18T19:31:11","slug":"night-temp-improves-in-kashmir","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/index.php\/2025\/11\/18\/night-temp-improves-in-kashmir\/","title":{"rendered":"Night temp improves in Kashmir"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>MeT says nothing significant expected till Dec 5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Srinagar, Nov 18: While the night temperature improved across the valley, the weatherman here has predicted dry weather conditions till December 05.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNothing significant is expected in Jammu and Kashmir till December 5th,\u201d Dr Mukhtar Ahmad, Director Meteorological Department (MeT), told the news agency\u2014Kashmir News Observer (KNO).<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the valley experienced an improvement in the night temperature with the mercury in Gulmarg, a famous ski resort, settling above freezing point at 2.0 degrees Celsius.<\/p>\n<p>In Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, the minimum temperature settled at minus 1.8 degrees Celsius, while Qazigund, a gateway of Kashmir, recorded a low of minus 1.3 degrees Celsius.<\/p>\n<p>In north Kashmir\u2019s Kupwara district, the mercury settled at minus 1.8 degrees Celsius. Pahalgam, a famous tourist destination, recorded a low of minus 2.8 degrees Celsius.<\/p>\n<p>Kokernag recorded a night temperature of 0.6 degrees.
