{"id":4504,"date":"2025-11-20T18:55:11","date_gmt":"2025-11-20T18:55:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/?p=4504"},"modified":"2025-11-20T18:55:11","modified_gmt":"2025-11-20T18:55:11","slug":"kashmir-prepared-for-winter-with-adequate-essentials-fcsca","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/index.php\/2025\/11\/20\/kashmir-prepared-for-winter-with-adequate-essentials-fcsca\/","title":{"rendered":"Kashmir prepared for winter with adequate essentials: FCS&#038;CA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Srinagar, Nov 20:\u00a0<\/strong>The Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&amp;CA) Department Kashmir on Thursday said the valley is fully geared up for winter, with advance dumping of ration and LPG already completed across all districts.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Director Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&amp;CA) Kashmir, Arjumand Yaqoob said that as part of the department\u2019s winter preparedness plan, four months of ration stock have been dumped in advance across the valley.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe had set November 31 as the deadline, but this year we are ahead of schedule. Four months of rations have already been dumped across all districts,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Arjumand said LPG supplies are being stocked in border and far-flung areas in line with winter requirements. \u201cIn areas like Bandipora, Gurez, Kupwara, Tangdar and Machil, the dumping process is ongoing and progressing smoothly,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>The Deputy Director further informed that there are 893 designated dumping stations across Kashmir where winter stocks have been placed to ensure uninterrupted supply during snowfall and road closures.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur winter preparations are complete, and there is no need for the public to panic.
