With all these artisans, you can see what real production and originality of Kashmir mean,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>She added that such initiatives highlight the importance of supporting local artisans over imported goods. \u201cIt is sad when I see imported items replacing original handmade crafts. Anyone coming here can see the difference, the people, their skills and their creations. It\u2019s beautiful,\u201d she said, while touring stalls displaying papier-mache, walnut wood carving and hand embroidery.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the \u2018Know Your Artisan\u2019 showcase continues to attract both locals and visitors, serving as a bridge between Kashmir\u2019s traditional craftsmen and the world, reaffirming the valley\u2019s place as a cradle of artistic excellence.
