{"id":5467,"date":"2025-11-29T18:18:59","date_gmt":"2025-11-29T18:18:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/?p=5467"},"modified":"2025-11-29T18:18:59","modified_gmt":"2025-11-29T18:18:59","slug":"sda-rules-out-demolishing-200-allotted-shops-rumours","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/index.php\/2025\/11\/29\/sda-rules-out-demolishing-200-allotted-shops-rumours\/","title":{"rendered":"SDA rules out demolishing 200 allotted shops rumours"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Srinagar, Nov 29:\u00a0<\/strong>Srinagar Development Authority (SDA) Saturday said that it has started collecting data from the shopkeepers and building holders in the city who have \u2018alleged constructed unauthorised extensions\u2019 on commercial units allotted to them.<\/p>\n<p>Officials from the authority said that several shopkeepers have constructed additional structures on the premises that were originally provided to them on rent by SDA.<\/p>\n<p>He said that SDA has received several complaints in this regard. \u201cThe rumours of 200 shops being demolished is baseless. No demolition drive is planned.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNotices have been served to many shopkeepers. They have been asked to explain their position regarding the construction beyond the allotment,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The official also clarified that \u201cThese are SDA properties, so there is no question of demolition.
