{"id":6412,"date":"2025-12-09T18:17:00","date_gmt":"2025-12-09T18:17:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/?p=6412"},"modified":"2025-12-09T18:17:00","modified_gmt":"2025-12-09T18:17:00","slug":"3-8-lakh-jk-kids-benefit-from-vidya-pravesh","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/index.php\/2025\/12\/09\/3-8-lakh-jk-kids-benefit-from-vidya-pravesh\/","title":{"rendered":"\u20183.8 lakh J&#038;K kids benefit from Vidya Pravesh\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Srinagar, Dec 09:\u00a0<\/strong>The Union Education Ministry has said that Jammu and Kashmir has been receiving central support under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 to integrate three years of pre-primary education into the foundational stage.<\/p>\n<p>According to official data presented in the Lok Sabha, the ministry, said at least 1,34,249 children in J&amp;K were covered under the Vidya Pravesh school-preparation module in 2022\u201323, followed by 1,30,640 students in 2023\u201324 and 1,19,160 students in 2024\u201325.<\/p>\n<p>The Ministry further said that J&amp;K is implementing the NIPUN Bharat Mission, which aims to ensure foundational literacy and numeracy for all children by Grade 2. \u201cFinancial support is provided for teacher training, teaching-learning materials, assessment, and strengthening of pre-school education.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It also highlighted initiatives promoting the use of mother tongue and regional languages up to Class 5, noting that curriculum reforms, multilingual textbooks, and play-based learning tools such as Jaadui Pitara are being implemented nationwide, including in J&amp;K.<\/p>\n<p>The ministry further stated that these reforms are part of broader structural changes under NEP 2020 to improve early childhood learning, reduce academic stress, and promote multilingual proficiency<strong>\u2014(KNO)<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Srinagar, Dec 09:\u00a0The Union Education Ministry has said that Jammu and Kashmir has been receiving central support under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 to integrate three years of pre-primary education into the foundational stage.
