{"id":655,"date":"2025-10-06T20:10:25","date_gmt":"2025-10-06T20:10:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/?p=655"},"modified":"2025-10-06T20:10:25","modified_gmt":"2025-10-06T20:10:25","slug":"peddlers-property-attached-in-kulgam","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/index.php\/2025\/10\/06\/peddlers-property-attached-in-kulgam\/","title":{"rendered":"Peddler\u2019s property attached in Kulgam"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>KNO<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Srinagar, Oct 06:\u00a0<\/strong>Continuing its unwavering drive against the drug menace, Police in Kulgam on Monday said to have attached the property of a notorious drug peddler under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDuring the investigation of case FIR No. 85\/2024 U\/S 8\/15, 21 NDPS Act of Police Station Qazigund, it came to light that the accused, Cheki Badwani, resident of Kurigam, Tehsil Qazigund, has been involved in multiple cases of drug trafficking and had no legitimate source of income. The accused is presently lodged in District Jail Bhaderwah,\u201d a police spokesman said in a statement issued.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation further revealed that the accused had illegally acquired a residential house falling under Survey No. 797 min, valued at approximately Rs. 25 lakh (Twenty-Five Lakh Rupees), from the proceeds of drug trafficking.
