{"id":6677,"date":"2025-12-12T17:59:53","date_gmt":"2025-12-12T17:59:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/?p=6677"},"modified":"2025-12-12T17:59:53","modified_gmt":"2025-12-12T17:59:53","slug":"jk-has-4-trauma-care-facility-centres-sanctioned-centre","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/index.php\/2025\/12\/12\/jk-has-4-trauma-care-facility-centres-sanctioned-centre\/","title":{"rendered":"J&#038;K has 4 trauma care facility centres sanctioned: Centre"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Srinagar, Dec 12:\u00a0<\/strong>Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Friday informed Lok Sabha that Jammu and Kashmir has a total of four Trauma Care Facilities (TCFs) sanctioned under the National Programme for Prevention &amp; Management of Trauma and Burn Injuries (NPPMT&amp;BI).<\/p>\n<p>The ministry has stated that the sanctioned trauma care centres in J&amp;K include MMAM District Hospital, Anantnag (Level III), Trauma Hospital, Ramban (Doda) (Level III), Government District Hospital Udhampur (Level II) and District Hospital Kupwara (Level III).<\/p>\n<p>It also said that 196 trauma care facilities were sanctioned across the country during the 11th and 12th Five-Year Plans, including the four centres in J&amp;K.<\/p>\n<p>However, under the current scheme, there is no provision for establishing new trauma care facilities, and the focus has shifted to capacity building of doctors and paramedical staff in trauma management.<\/p>\n<p>The government further stated that monitoring of trauma care centres, including patient data and quality of services, is carried out at the state level<strong>\u2014(KNO)<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Srinagar, Dec 12:\u00a0Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Friday informed Lok Sabha that Jammu and Kashmir has a total of four Trauma Care Facilities (TCFs) sanctioned under the National Programme for Prevention &amp; Management of Trauma and Burn Injuries (NPPMT&amp;BI).
