BUDGAM, OCTOBER 07: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Budgam,
\nMehraj-ud-din Shah Tuesday chaired District Level
\nScreening-cum-Coordination Committee (DLSCC) meeting to review,
\ndiscuss and finalize the cases related to compassionate appointment
\nunder SRO-43 for the NOKs of civilians and armed forces personnel
\nkilled in militancy related incidents.
\nAfter thorough deliberation and evaluation, the Committee approved
\nseveral eligible cases under the provisions of the SRO-43.
\nADC Budgam after assessing each case, reaffirmed that all deserving
\nNOKs shall receive timely benefits. He emphasized that compassionate
\nappointments under SRO-43 are not merely administrative obligations
\nbut a moral commitment to the families who have suffered irreparable
\nlosses.
\nThe ADC directed all concerned departments to maintain close
\ncoordination and expedite the verification process without unnecessary
\ndelays. He stressed on the need to ensure transparency, sensitivity,
\nand efficiency in handling these cases, reiterating that no eligible
\nfamily should be made to wait due to procedural bottlenecks.
\nThe ADC urged all departments to adopt a proactive approach and
\nensure that all required formalities and verifications are completed
\nwithin stipulated timelines.
