{"id":819,"date":"2025-10-08T20:38:53","date_gmt":"2025-10-08T20:38:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/?p=819"},"modified":"2025-10-08T20:38:53","modified_gmt":"2025-10-08T20:38:53","slug":"candidate-to-be-decided-after-rahul-gandhis-return-karra","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/index.php\/2025\/10\/08\/candidate-to-be-decided-after-rahul-gandhis-return-karra\/","title":{"rendered":"Candidate to be decided after Rahul Gandhi\u2019s return: Karra"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Mubashir Alam Wani<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Srinagar, Oct 08:\u00a0<\/strong>Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Chief Tariq Hameed Karra on Wednesday said deliberations on the party\u2019s Rajya Sabha nominee will only begin once Rahul Gandhi returns from abroad, stressing that the final decision rests with the central leadership and not the state unit.<\/p>\n<p>Karra dismissed speculation around potential Congress candidates, saying, \u201cno formal discussion has taken place\u201d either within the party or with alliance partner National Conference.<\/p>\n<p>He said the reports that there are consultations going on for nominations of RS seats were \u201cpurely speculative\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUntil Rahul Ji and the central leadership take a call on this, it\u2019s just narrative-building.
