Are we contributing to justice, compassion, and knowledge, or are we passive observers in a suffering world? Let 2026, then, be a year where we move beyond superficial resolutions to foundational repentance (Tawbah) and steadfast improvement (Istiqamah). Let us use this milestone to renew our covenants, mend broken ties, seek knowledge, and increase in righteous action. The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Let us shed with it our spiritual neglect and resolve to meet our Lord with hearts that are heavier with good deeds and lighter with sin.
