{"id":8935,"date":"2026-01-06T19:03:46","date_gmt":"2026-01-06T19:03:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/?p=8935"},"modified":"2026-01-06T19:03:46","modified_gmt":"2026-01-06T19:03:46","slug":"forces-bust-terrorist-hideout-in-north-kashmir","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/index.php\/2026\/01\/06\/forces-bust-terrorist-hideout-in-north-kashmir\/","title":{"rendered":"Forces bust terrorist hideout in north Kashmir"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Arms, ammunition recovered<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kupwara, Jan 06: Security forces on Tuesday busted a terrorist hideout in the forest area of Putshai Lolab in north Kashmir\u2019s Kupwara district, officials said.<\/p>\n<p>The operation, officials told the news agency\u2014Kashmir News Observer (KNO), was launched by a joint team of the Army, BSF and Jammu and Kashmir Police after receiving credible inputs about the presence of a terrorist hideout in the dense forest belt.<\/p>\n<p>Following the inputs, the joint forces started a cordon and search operation in the area.<\/p>\n<p>During the search, forces detected and destroyed a concealed hideout and recovered a cache of arms and ammunition from the spot.<\/p>\n<p>The recoveries included 34 rounds of 7.62 mm ammunition, 18 rounds of 9 mm ammunition, one pistol magazine, one Pakistan-made grenade, four Chinese grenades and one ammunition pouch, an official said.<\/p>\n<p>He said a case in this regard has been registered, and further investigations have been taken up.
