We grabbed our children and ran out,\u201d said a resident.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSome neighbors tried to pull out furniture, but the blaze didn\u2019t allow them,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Another resident said, \u201cPeople were shouting, crying and running in all directions. It was terrifying to see our homes, built over generations, reduced to ash in minutes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Officials said the exact cause of the fire is still under investigation.
