{"id":9151,"date":"2026-01-08T19:10:26","date_gmt":"2026-01-08T19:10:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/?p=9151"},"modified":"2026-01-08T19:10:26","modified_gmt":"2026-01-08T19:10:26","slug":"life-not-just-about-earning-money-or-personal-pursuits-iaf-chief","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/index.php\/2026\/01\/08\/life-not-just-about-earning-money-or-personal-pursuits-iaf-chief\/","title":{"rendered":"Life not just about earning money or personal pursuits: IAF Chief"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Says \u2018Op Sindoor\u2019 sent clear message: everyone has to contribute to nation building<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>New Delhi, Jan 08: Stating that life is not just about earning money or personal pursuits, Chief of the Indian Air Force, Air Chief Marshal A P Singh, on Thursday said that \u2018Operation Sindoor\u2019 sent a clear message that everyone has to contribute towards nation building.<\/p>\n<p>Addressing cadets at the ongoing National Cadet Corps (NCC) Republic Day Camp at Delhi Cantonment, the IAF chief, according to the news agency\u2014Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said, \u201cSo, whether you are a soldier or a military leader in uniform, or a regular citizen, give your best and contribute to nation-building.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Air Chief Marshal Singh told the NCC cadets that the role played by them in civil defence activities during Operation Sindoor motivated many people. \u201cThe military action brought a lot of awareness. It is not just about earning money or doing things only for oneself in life, it is equally important to do something for the country,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Calling upon the NCC cadets to give their best for the country, the IAF Chief said, \u201cWhether you join the armed forces or pursue other professions, ensure that you keep on serving the nation to the best of your ability.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He also exhorted them not to be deterred by failures but to emerge stronger from any setback, citing his own journey to the top post. \u201cI too faced failures in my life and career, but I rose to become an IAF chief.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Pertinently, a total of 2,406 NCC cadets, including 898 girls, from across the country are participating in the nearly month-long camp, which was inaugurated on Monday by Vice-President C P Radhakrishnan. It will culminate with the NCC PM Rally on January 28.
