It is only under the National Conference government led by Omar Abdullah that equitable and city-wide development has once again become a priority,” he said.

Highlighting the work being undertaken in Zadibal, Tanvir Sadiq said the constituency, which includes some of the most densely populated and historically significant areas of Srinagar, is witnessing focused interventions in road connectivity, drainage systems, public spaces, community infrastructure and urban renewal. He noted that long-pending projects from Lal Bazar to Bharar, Alamgiri Bazar to Soura, Makdoom Sahib, Dargah Hazratbal and Mir Behri Dal are now being executed on the ground.

Sadiq said his vision is to develop Zadibal as a model constituency reflecting the larger goal of making Srinagar one of the finest cities in the country. “If Zadibal rises, Srinagar rises with it.
