KULGAM, MAY 05: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam Tuesday visited Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) Mirhama and took stock of the ongoing construction works at the site.
During the visit, the DC, as per an official statement, reviewed the physical progress of the project. It was informed that the total project cost is estimated at Rs 40.47 crore.
The DC issued several directions to the concerned departments to ensure timely completion of the project.
He instructed for the preparation of estimates for PHE and PDD connections and emphasized the need for a comprehensive DPR for additional development works at the campus.
Stressing the importance of infrastructure resilience, the DC called for adequate flood protection measures to safeguard the campus.
The DC also instructed to develop proper road connectivity to the campus and completion of allied development works.
He emphasized ensuring safety and security measures for labourers engaged at the site
