SRINAGAR, MAY 08: As part of the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan, a Yoga and Counselling Session was organized at Delhi Public School Srinagar under the directions of District Ayush Officer Srinagar, Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Parray.
The programme, as per an official statement, was aimed at promoting the benefits of a healthy daily lifestyle among students and creating awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse.
The session was jointly conducted by trained Yoga Instructors from the Directorate of AYUSH Srinagar, Mohammad Younis and Shahida Fayaz.
During the session, students were introduced to various yoga practices, breathing techniques and simple exercises that help improve physical fitness, mental well-being, concentration and emotional balance.
The students actively participated in the yoga demonstrations and counselling interaction.
The programme concluded with a pledge to work collectively towards building a healthy, drug-free society through awareness, discipline and wellness-oriented activities.
