Directs timely completion within stipulated timeframe

DODA, JUNE 16: District Development Commissioner Doda Krishan Lal Tuesday chaired a comprehensive review meeting at the Conference Hall, DC Office Complex, Doda, to assess the progress of ongoing road infrastructure projects being executed across the district.

Officials, as per an official statement, from the engineering departments concerned presented detailed updates on the status of various road construction and upgradation works. The review focussed on project execution, physical progress, adherence to timelines and measures required to remove bottlenecks affecting implementation.

Road-wise projects under Doda, Bhaderwah, Assar, Thathri and Gandoh divisions, along with other ongoing works across the district were discussed and reviewed thoroughly.

The DDC directed all executing agencies and officers concerned to accelerate the pace of work and ensure completion of projects within the stipulated time frame.

The District Development Commissioner further instructed officers to maintain quality standards and ensure regular field-level monitoring of works to achieve the desired outcomes. He also reviewed the situation arising from recent floods in Thathri Division and directed the authorities concerned to expedite restoration and related road works to minimise public inconvenience.

Among those present were Superintending Engineer PWD (R&B) Doda, Chief Planning Officer Doda, Executive Engineers of R&B Doda, Assistant Executive Engineers and other officers and officials concerned.
