SRINAGAR, JUNE 23: A condolence meeting of Law Officers and staff of the Advocate General Organization was held on Tuesday at the Advocate General’s office, Srinagar, to mourn the demise of Shakti Devi, mother of Chief Justice (Acting) Sanjeev Kumar Shukla, who passed away on June 25.
The meeting was presided over by Senior Additional Advocate General Mohsin-ul-Showkat Qadri. Shakti Devi passed away on June 20, 2026.
Expressing profound grief over the loss, Senior AAG Mohsin-ul-Showkat Qadri conveyed deep sympathies to the bereaved family. He said Shakti Devi’s passing was an irreparable loss and prayed for strength to the family in this hour of grief.
The meeting was attended by Senior Additional Advocate Generals, Government Counsels, officers and employees of the organization.
All the participants prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and forbearance to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
