Srinagar, July 29: The Passport Seva Project (PSP) under the Ministry of External Affairs is providing Mobile Passport Van services in Kargil to facilitate passport related services for applicants in the region.
The Mobile Passport Van, as per a PIB statement, operated by the Regional Passport Office, Srinagar, is stationed at the Tourist Facilitation Centre, Bemathang, Kargil, from July 29 to July 31, 2026.
Applicants from Kargil and nearby areas can avail passport services by booking an appointment through the Passport Seva portal. Applicants are required to select “Passport Van” as the service option and choose an available appointment slot for the scheduled dates.
Applicants are advised to report at the designated venue on the date and time of their appointment and contact the Mobile Passport Van team (PB65BF1377) for further assistance.
The Mobile Passport Van initiative has been introduced by the Ministry of External Affairs to provide passport related services in remote areas and improve accessibility for citizens.
