A large number of fruit growers, traders and FPOs participated in the camp and were apprised of various govt. schemes of the horticulture sector like HADP, JK-CIP, Support for Grading and Packaging and e-NAM trade.

The Area Marketing Officer briefed the participants about all components of HADP and JK-CIP schemes. The officers from KVK Anantnag, Horticulture Production and Agriculture departments deliberated technical and informative lectures on various farmer centric govt. schemes and support systems.

The program aimed to sensitise the farming community about various govt. initiatives launched for sustainable agriculture development and self-reliance in alignment with the goals of Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan.

The camp served as an important platform for direct interaction between department and farmers encouraging the adoption of scientific and sustainable practices in horticulture.
