Srinagar, Oct 12: Slogans like, Ek Kachori, Do Samosa, Rahul Gandhi Par Kya Bharosa echoed around Pratap Park in Srinagar on Monday as BJP Mahila Morcha activists staged a protest against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party, accusing them of “vote chori”.

The protesters assembled outside the Congress office around noon and raised slogans against Rahul Gandhi and the Congress leadership.

They also burnt an effigy of Rahul Gandhi during the demonstration at Pratap Park in Srinagar.

The protest soon saw a face-off between workers of the two parties, with Congress workers coming out of their office and raising counter-slogans, including “Vote Chor BJP” and “BJP Murdabad”.

The BJP protesters accused the Congress of electoral irregularities, while Congress workers responded with counter-slogans targeting the BJP.

The protest comes amid an ongoing political row over allegations of “vote chori”, with the BJP and Congress trading accusations over electoral practices—(KNO)
