DC Baramulla Flags off Students for Bharat Darshan Tour

BARAMULLA , JANUARY 08: A batch of 20 students were flagged off for the Bharat Darshan Tour 2026, organized by BSF 112 Naga Battalion by Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, in the presence of Commanding Officer, BSF 112 Naga Battalion, Nakul Vaid at railway station Baramulla.

During the event, the Deputy Commissioner, as per an official statement, interacted with the students, encouraged them to make the most of the educational tour, and emphasized the importance of learning through travel and experience. He also appreciated the BSF for organizing the tour, highlighting its role in promoting national integration and providing students with valuable exposure to India’s cultural, historical, and geographical diversity. He wished the students a safe and enriching journey.

Speaking on the occasion, Commanding Officer, BSF 112 Naga Battalion said that the Bharat Darshan Tour aims to foster a sense of unity, patriotism, and mutual understanding among the youth. He reaffirmed the BSF’s commitment towards youth engagement and nation-building initiatives.The students, accompanied by escort teachers and BSF officers, were enthusiastic and excited as they embarked on the tour. The Principal, Boys Degree College Baramulla, lauded the BSF for providing students with this valuable learning opportunity beyond the classroom.

Officers of the district administration, Police and BSF Officers and parents were present on the occasion and extended their best wishes to the students for a safe, memorable, and enriching tour.
