Srinagar, Oct 17: Months after the deadly Pahalgam attack, Srinagar is all set to witness a musical spectacle as renowned Bollywood playback singer Sonu Nigam takes the stage at Dal Lake.

The concert, a heartfelt tribute to legendary singer Mohammed Rafi, will be held on Sunday, October 26, at the SK International Convention Centre (SKICC), Srinagar.

According to details collected by the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the two-hour show promises an unforgettable experience, with Sonu Nigam’s voice echoing across the valley, blending modern energy with the timeless melodies of Rafi Sahib.

The concert is open to all ages, with tickets available on the official website of District Events at www.district.in/events/sonu-nigam-live-tribute-to-mohammed-rafi-2025-buy-tickets Attendees can also visit the SKICC venue for tickets and more details.

Excitement is already building among Srinagar residents. A local music enthusiast said it is amazing that Kashmir is finally hosting such a grand concert. “Sonu Nigam’s tribute to Mohammed Rafi will be historic,” they said.

Another resident, Zubair, shared that he grew up listening to Rafi Sahib, and hearing his songs live by Sonu Nigam, with Dal Lake as the backdrop, is a dream come true.

Meanwhile, music lovers can expect moments of nostalgia and grandeur as Kashmir reconnects with India’s mainstream music scene through this historic live performance—(KNO)
