DODA, NOVEMBER 24: A series of Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) medical camps were organised Monday at multiple locations across this mountainous district.

The health outreach initiatives were aimed at providing a wide range of healthcare facilities directly at the doorstep of the public, particularly those residing in far-flung and underserved areas.

In Medical Block Ghat, a medical camp was organized at Village Khal.   Dr. Mirza Nadeem Beg, with the assistance of the local health staff and the MMU team, screened 79 patients and provided essential diagnostic services and medical support.

Similarly, another camp was held at Village Drone Jamani in Medical Block Thathri. Dr. Ikhlaq Hussain, supported by the local health staff and MMU team, provided necessary medical consultation and care to 68 patients.

Free medicines were provided to all beneficiaries as per requirement at both camps.

Apart from medical consultations, the staff also raised awareness among the community on hygiene, disease prevention and the importance of timely healthcare seeking behavior.

The Health Department Doda continues its commitment to ensuring accessible and quality healthcare services for all sections of the population.
