District Jail Anantnag, DIPR hold cultural programme for inmates

ANANTNAG,  NOVEMBER 27:  The District Jail, in collaboration with the Department of Information and Public Relations, Anantnag today organised a one-day recreational and cultural programme for the inmates.

During the program, a series of Sufiyana, Chakri and Rouf songs were presented by local artists, creating a joyful atmosphere inside the jail premises.

On the occasion, the Jail Superintendent and several inmates, as per an official statement, also participated in the performances, adding value to the event besides contributing to the emotional well-being of the inmates.

The inmates expressed their appreciation for the initiative and requested that similar programmes be organised regularly for recreation, entertainment, morale, and mental health.
