Paying tributes to Singh, on his Martyrdom Day the Lieutenant Governor, according to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), highlighted his monumental military campaigns in Ladakh, Baltistan, Gilgit, and Skardu, and the role he played in expansion of the Dogra Empire.

He said, “We should work together to ensure that every individual receives equal opportunities to advance.”
