SAMBA, DECEMBER 18: Deputy Commissioner Samba, Ayushi Sudan Thursday convened a comprehensive review meeting at the DC Office to evaluate and finalize preparations for the forthcoming Ratkhada Mela, scheduled to commence from December 27 at the revered Shree Narsingh Dev Ji Temple, Ghagwal.

Recognizing the cultural and devotional importance of the Ratkhada Mela, the Deputy Commissioner, as per an official statement, issued detailed directives to all concerned departments, emphasizing the critical need for meticulous planning, robust inter-departmental coordination and timely execution of arrangements to facilitate the seamless conduct of this major religious event.

During the extensive deliberations, the DC conducted a thorough assessment of multifaceted preparatory measures spanning security protocols, sanitation infrastructure, traffic management systems and the provision of essential public amenities.

Special emphasis was placed on maintaining stringent law and order, ensuring exemplary cleanliness standards and orchestrating smooth vehicular movement in anticipation of the substantial influx of pilgrims during the religious festivities.

The Deputy Commissioner meticulously reviewed arrangements pertaining to uninterrupted drinking water supply, adequate deployment of mobile toilet facilities, comprehensive medical and emergency response systems, fire safety mechanisms and other critical services essential for public welfare.

Strategic directions were issued to designate appropriate spaces for amusement rides and temporary markets while ensuring these do not impede vehicular flow or compromise public convenience, reflecting a balanced approach between tradition and public safety.

The Deputy Commissioner unequivocally stressed that seamless inter-departmental synergy remains paramount to orchestrating a safe, orderly and memorable Ratkhada Mela that honors the religious sentiments of devotees while upholding the highest standards of administrative excellence.

The meeting was attended by ADC Samba, Jagdish Singh, ACR Samba, Ajay Bharti, SDM Ghagwal, K.J.S Bali, Executive Engineers from various departments and heads of Health, Fire & Emergency Services, Public Health Engineering, Food Safety and Tourism departments and members of the Shree Narsingh Dev Ji Temple Committee, Ghagwal.
