RAMBAN, DECEMBER 18: A one-day training programme for Multipurpose Workers (MPWs) was organized Thursday by the District AYUSH Ramban, with the objective of strengthening grassroots-level delivery of its services and promoting preventive healthcare practices.
The training, as per an official statement, was conducted by senior Medical Officer AYUSH and District Yoga Coordinator Dr. Masood Iqbal, who delivered detailed and interactive sessions focusing on effective field-level implementation of AYUSH interventions.
The sessions covered key aspects including proper AYUSH service delivery at the community level, accurate maintenance of OPD records and registers at Ayush Health and Wellness Centres (AHWCs) and strategies for enhancing community health awareness.
Emphasis was laid on the role of AYUSH in preventive and promotional healthcare, highlighting its significance in addressing lifestyle related ailments and improving overall well-being.
Dr. Iqbal also conducted practical demonstrations of various Yoga Āsanas such as Tadasana, Vrikshasana, Bhujangasana, Vajrasana and Shashankasana, enabling participants to gain hands-on understanding for effective dissemination in their respective field areas.
To assess the learning outcomes and gather constructive feedback, an aptitude test of objective type was conducted at the end of the programme which aimed to evaluate participants’ understanding of the topics discussed and to collect suggestions for further strengthening AYUSH public health initiatives.
