Srinagar, Feb 02: Peoples Conference president Sajad Gani Lone has submitted crucial amendments to the Lieutenant Governor’s address concerning the safety of Kashmiris, the regularisation of daily wagers, and the enhancement of the age limit for open merit candidates appearing in the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) examination.

According to the business circulated by the Assembly Secretariat as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Lone has proposed an amendment regretting the omission of condemnation regarding attacks on Kashmiri students, traders, and hawkers in different States and Union Territories.

Lone, who is the only opposition MLA from Kashmir to move amendments to the LG’s address, has also proposed an amendment seeking to enhance the age limit for open merit candidates appearing in the J&K Administrative Services examination from 32 to 37 years. (KNO)
