Jammu, Feb 19: Army on Thursday said that it foiled an infiltration attempt along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Sunderbani sector of Rajouri district.

In a post on X, the Army’s White Knight Corps, according to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said, “Suspicious movement of terrorists was detected in the general area of Nathua Tibba in Sunderbani following specific intelligence inputs and sustained surveillance. Alert troops responded with calibrated fire, thwarting the infiltration attempt.”

“Troops have been suitably repositioned and reoriented to maintain domination of the area through integrated ground and aerial surveillance. A high state of operational alert is being maintained across the sector,” the Army said. (KNO)
