Srinagar, 15 Mar: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President & CM Omar Abdullah have expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Pirzada Qutub Ud Din Maqdoomi, Masabdar of the revered Ziyarat Mehboob-ul-Aalam Sheikh Hamza Maqdoomi (RA).
In their condolence message, the duo, as per a party statement issued on Sunday, described the deceased as a respected religious figure who devoted his life to the service of the revered shrine and the spiritual guidance of devotees.
They extended their heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family, particularly to his son Pirzada Shabbir Ahmad Maqdoomi, and prayed for strength and patience for the family to bear the irreparable loss.
The duo also prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and for solace to the bereaved family in this difficult time.
Among others Party General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, and Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq have also extended profound sympathies and condolences to the bereaved household.
